Yeah but you misspelled Mahler. ;D

Something got spilled on my keyboard - now the 'L' and 'P' keys get stuck.

Haydn - Lethe

Back at you! :D I didn't expect a mention in here, as I have about 10 composers sharing my top spot.

Mercy, but that post made me laugh more than I've laughed on this forum in some little while.

Thank you!

Never knew Todd was a Debussian.

Well I know he writes alot about Beethoven, but it seems that I see him post alot about all of the great piano music whether it's Debussy, Ravel, Chopin, Bach, Scarlatti, Beethoven, Schumann etc

All of the above - Harry  $:)

I think this is also true for me; I'll buy just about anything.

Veit Bach-a baker who found his greatest pleasure in a little cittern which he took with him even into the mill and played while the grinding was going on. In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

Do you live anywhere near Valkenberg Harry?  That's in the South and I do remember many a hike upwards.

I went there for a few days a while ago en route to Alkmaar and Amsterdam.  Loved Amsterdam and not only for the Concertgebouw, its a lovely City.

Good gracious no, Tony, I live in the North, almost as far as you can go, before you tumble in the Nordsea.
Valkenburg is in the south, funny people there. ;D

Did you hear her last one? Worth every second of the 12 years we had to wait for it:

My sister has that album and I borrowed it from her. It's the only Kate Bush CD I have ever heard but I liked it. Tastefully done music!  :)

Cool.

Now try this one:

You may find the first four or five tracks sound dated (they're over 20 years old), but wait till you reach the sequence of music that begins with the track, 'And Dream Of Sheep'. ;) The closing track, 'Hello Earth', is moving beyond belief.

Oh dear, I need a second lifetime to explore artists like Kate Bush but I might try what you recommend Mark because I don't have too much this kind of music (seems like I could have for about 8 euros delivered). I have a feeling I like just about everything she has done but perhaps I don't go crazy for it. She is perhaps my almost favorite artist but we'll see...

...thanks anyway for the rec!
