Ravel - Valses (Thibaudet). Too delicate in the noble waltzes. His sense of rhythm is not quite there.

Michelangeli's newly found yet unheard recording from early 70s has just been released in Japan and yours truly ordered it inspite of rather steep price.  8)

This one is steep you're right. What are the other pieces? I am trying to make out from the picture. Are these Schumann Faschingsschwank and a Chopin Sonata?

I've had for years in my collection the other CDs which complete this cycle, but never felt inclined until this week to finish it by buying this. An insanely low price from an Amazon seller forced my hand, and so now I'm rather enjoying it. :)

Apparently it is. The Amazon CD did not give much detail, and I thought Michelangeli only had one recording of the Valses so I thought this was perhaps the orchestral version and he was only doing the concerto.
