Autumn Leaves

I was just making a joke - a bad one I admit..
Noone else finds a picture of an arse with a record label named "Urania" funny? - I can understand, ill get over it im sure.
Im a heterosexual male and don't dislike the covers - I just think they are a bit irrelevant and Im not actually sad enough to buy a record because the cover features Female nudity but maybe some folk are?..

Nope, because I know who Urania is.

We obviously have different ideas about the function of the thread.

Haha! All right, then:

I'm after a cover for Ives' String Quartet No.2 "Manly Men" (see composers notes) which features that title prominently and shows manly men going about the business of being manly.

Possibly using images of 70s-era male models with porn 'staches splashing on Brut 33, possibly something like modern cowboy six-pack romance pulp covers (homoerotic subtext desirable but not essential). Or any other display of manliness that you see fit. I guess there should also be the incongruous suggestion that these guys are also the musicians playing the Ives.

No rush, "should you choose to accept it...".

Hey Simon: It's taken waaay too long, but here's another cover...

SimonNZ

LOL! That's great...but it still needs "Manly Men" as the work's title.

How's this?

SimonNZ

Thanks for putting the work into this odd request.

Could I get it though like the first one with Ives name on the top line and the second line with the work - but smaller to include the title, and with the title in quotation marks like they would with an official name?

No problem.

Heh. That's great. Thanks very much for that.

I need a bigger version of the picture for my wallpaper. No text.

Sex is used to sell practically every darn thing on the planet except maybe religion. Good music, classical or otherwise, doesn't need naked bodies to attract attention. A musician or music lover will buy recordings based on merit. Others seeing busts, abs or asses don't need the extra expense of buying a CD with music he or she will not listen to anyway.

If you have a tiny screen, I have good news for you. But if you have a regular screen, then be prepared for some bad news...

That's the largest image of that I have.

Sorry about that.

I'll see if I can find a bigger one.

It's okay, I just taught myself how to use reverse image search...

You deleted 2 guys. Though on the whole I think you made the best possible choice.

Thanks.

Searching for matching images is a breeze in Google Chrome: Right-click on an image and select "Search Google for image". Easy peasy.

As far as I know, Chrome is the only browser that lets you do that.

Are those prosciutto? In reference to Scarlatti being Italian?

Or maybe props for a zombie apocalypse film. Either way, a bit off-putting.
