By the way, my inspiration is this blog post, "Pug Griffin Surrounded by Pug Griffins."

Pug Griffin was an 1800s baseball player. So naturally they did this to him:

The first world champion baseball team was from my hometown, Guelph Ontario, in 1874.

Edward Johnson was from Guelph too, on the music scene. And for film buffs, Elinor Glyn.

Wow, you're from Guelph! Been there three or four times for one reason or another.  The cathedral - the Church of our Lady Immaculate - is one of the most beautiful buildings in all of Canada.

It is. Long time zoning laws to make sure it remains visible too.

Yes, moved there when I was one, and my parents live in the same house. Dad's an emeritus at U of G.

I have no idea. But with "Pin" removed from the rest of his name, all I'm thinking of now is "Pin the tail on the Zukerman."

You mean you've never heard of C.T.E. Bach?
Beethoven's Op. 133 -- A fugue so bad that even Beethoven himself called it "Grosse".
