interesting combinations, must be a young-ish group for the things that are pretty common elsewhere but new to them, interesting programs though sprinkled between the pops which probably pay a lot of bills.

DETROIT has a lot of new concertos and using local players as soloists (cuts costs and keeps the money in town too)
