I thought you might.  That's an interesting indicator. If you like that, then there's a great ocean of Handel's vocal music out there that is just as, or more, beautiful. It was that kind of stuff that got me going on Handel - not the instrumental work.

Good to know. Thanks.

Some day? I thought you werer already well past third grade . . . .

(Sorry!— low-hanging fruit.)

You have to have a bachelor's to do that, so it would take a while.
Just a possibility, anyways... if ever lived there, I could either do that or programming.

"If you could choose between two paths, which would you choose? The Left - where nothing goes right, or the Right - Where there's nothing left?"

My friend posted this as a facebook status. I tried googling it, but couldn't find any results. It could be just some lyrics to a silly pop song, but she can be very, very clever sometimes. I like it... in a way, it could even be used to describe civilizations or cultures, if you think about it.

I managed to confuse a fellow musician & friend with my facebook status reading: An opportunity going to waste in the US confectionery industry: The Chewy Chevy

I would choose the Right path- there is always something left in your mind, and everything goes right.

CD

Um, I think the original quote referred to political "left" and "right".

greg

Do you know the source of the quote, then?
I'd still go right, though kind of walk on the path instead of going so far right that I drown in a marsh.

CD

I believe the correct term for what the Right path leads to is a "quagmire".

greg

Certainly not this Quagmire?

CD

No, that's just Wrong. :)

Bummer.

Somehow I doubt that this is one of those occasions where muttering an insincere "sorry" will suffice to clear his conscience.

We have had a proliferation of topics that seem set up to cause an argument. Could we have a rest from any further ones for a while please?

WRONG!
