I see a Christian Gerhaher box set (and 2cd distillation) coming out in several days (Sept. 17); I could not see contents or mention of the box on his website.

First the 2cd survey:

It's a very well-planned package, certainly, given the paucity of recordings of much of the material... already on my wishlist even though I'm not a big Hamelin fan.

Seriously,  is producing a Bach concerto CD now a standard contractual requirement?
(And who is the orchestra? Amazon makes no listing for it yet.)
