I dare say you are 100% on the money.  The only question remains: WHICH Karajan 10th. :-)

(Ancerl and Rowicki would have been alternatives for 10 & 5... alas, they opted to go for HvK and Slava. Don't know the Rowicki and Slava 5ths... anyone care to comment on them?)

Good question about the Karajan 10th. Your guess would be as good as mine.

It's always rather startling to see early photographs of Pavarotti,  in which he's actually thin!

And also two volumes of Westminster Legacy Collector's Edition,  with release dates of 3 January 2014, and the rubric that neither one "is available in your country" meaning the US--and consequently no price show to me.  Perhaps it will show you a price, since you're in Taiwan.

I finally figured out a little mystery here. Presto lists two new boxes of "Westminster Legacy Collector's Edition" download. However, they are pulling a fast one! What they did was split the one new box into two, and then label the two parts "Vol. 1" and "Vol. 2", without making it at all clear that you would only be getting half of the real box's 40 discs. I was doubly confused because the original Korean release DOES come in two large boxes, so I fell right into thinking the new DG versions were following the prototype.  I came very close to dowloading the boxes. So glad I didn't.
I did spring for the real box, and the included book is most un-impressive. It's small and not very informative.  The quality of the sleeves and packaging is also not nearly as good as with the original Korean version (I bought the chamber music box of the original set).  However, the music is wonderful.  It's nice to hear 50s recordings of interesting historical conductors and soloists in really nice, clean sound.
It's all good...

FUTURE RELEASES

Jean-Luc Tingaud and the RTE Orchestra (National Orchestra of Ireland) just wrapped recording sessions on the complete mature orchestral music of Paul Dukas: La Peri, Symphony, Sorcerer's Apprentice. And engineer/producer Phil Rowlands tweeted that they also recorded a Bizet album, though it's not clear what the Bizet was.

I can't believe I'm now seriously considering buying this just for that Feuersnot recording.

Yes, this seems well covered by previous Solti and Bøhm reissues. I won't bother.

I have had very good experiences with Stefano Molardi in Claudio Merulo's organ music, so I'll be following this series very closely.

And a Trost organ as well... must be my lucky day. :)

Knowing this is a Korean release, I did some searching, and found what appears to be a Korean outlet where I might be able to procure the big Giulini box.  The price is lower than from Japanese outlets.  Should I add Korea to the list of foreign countries I've purchased from?  And does anyone have any experience with www.pungwoldang.kr?

Thanks.  That may come in handy.  The price is nice enough, too.

Just received my confirmation from JPC today, first time purchase with them. Paid $168.00 total.  Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I'm hoping that with the Warner Brothers (nee EMI) boxes that I'm also going to get a little bit down the road, I'll have the most comprehensive collection available.

You'll still need his opera recordings, if you don't already have them.
