Very interested to hear what you think of this one. It's not like there are lots of versions to choose from either.
Be kind to your fellow posters!!

The new erato

I have 5 of the 8 discs in this box already; but this is an outstanding series and at the current ridiculous price I ended up paying around 5 Euros pr missing disc; probably well worth it.

The new erato

This fills in some holes in the collection nicely (though I have good recordings of around half the contents, but at current prices, what can one do?  :o  )

The new erato

I enjoy Gunther Schuller's recording of this on DG a lot, but for a more echt, ragtime experience this seems to be the ticket (it has had smashing reviews):

The new erato

Some backfilling of piano repertoire (interestingly this contains some Smetana, of which I have zilch).

[asin]B000QFBW5Q[/asin]

The new erato

I love this repertoire (early Italian baroque opera), and this have had some smashing reviews, including an IRR "Outstanding".

I also preordered these:

[asin]B008CYUZX8[/asin]
[asin]B008BT104M[/asin]

and in order to get free shipping on one of the boxes; added this:

I sincerely hope this is all,,,,,, :-\

There is a series of Smetana piano music on Supraphon played by Jitka Čechová.

5 volumes so far.
And then there is the complete edition on Supraphon vinyl:

I actually have them all (even the vinyl box).

Very interested to hear what you think of this one (Cherevicki). It's not like there are lots of versions to choose from either.

I have a feeling that it will be quite a while until I get round to listening to it :( There are probably around 500+ CDs lying around waiting to be played. I'm not always in an opera-mood.

A 28-minute Waldstein? Wishlisted!! I'm also wishlisting her Scarlatti. Her Beethoven Opp 109-111 is a very good CD, only marred by some glassy 1980-era sound and the worst liner note I've seen in a long time.

Okay, the Opp. 109-111 are now on my list.  I couldn't care less about liner notes for well-documented repertoire, and as for 1980s sound, I come from long enough ago to remember 78s.  (Just barely....)  I think I can handle a mere 30 years ago.  (NB  I have a Bruckner 8th recorded by Klemperer in 1924.  [Slow mvt. only.]  Care to guess the sound quality?  And yet I play it now and then, and wouldn't want to give it up.)
