Now I know what  you do when you are not buying CD boxes---scouring Youtube for cat videos.
I almost bought 3 boxes last night, but instead bought none.  One day at a time, as they say....
It's all good...

Oh Al ...

Yes, you. The box of boxes.

Von Karajan definitely made some great recordings (opera, early 20th century), but this... the horror.... ???  :D

Aaaw. Thinking about getting a cat, to be a companion for our dog when no one's home.
And to help guard my CDs.
It's all good...

Get the cat, ditch the dog. Moonfish would agree. Better for your aura and chi, and more space for that Munch box.

Yes, definitely, but make sure that you play the right kind of music. Otherwise cats are quite helpful for us with CDCDCD!

DG is so devious to keep repackaging and fusing these earlier box releases.  >:(
I'm pretty much set for life as well in terms of Karajan. No need for the super mega hoopla Mount Everest boxes like this one unless one has a really big cat!

OT

I liked the children's book entitled 'My Cat Likes to hide in Boxes'.

The cat in the video looks like The Cat from Norway:

'The Cat from Norway got stuck in the Doorway'
"Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm" (Churchill).

'The test of a work of art is, in the end, our affection for it, not our ability to explain why it is good' (Stanley Kubrick).

Any new cases of CDCDCD?

Ever since I've found myself all the way back at the beginning,  sort of working UP to Mozart, and BACKWARDS to Beethoven (I'm now at Chopin and Debussy), I've found that I can (I know I can, I know I can) do all my reseach (mostly) on YouTube, and then make the most well informed decision from there.

I mean, I went through about three weeks of Debussyianismo and wasn't able to get excited enough to buyBuyBUY!!!- all the most famous versions are on YT, and then I just download them into my brain for further contemplation until the spark ignites (or not).

Also, getting bogged down in comparison shopping of pre-sampling is a great way to actually keep from ORDERING!! I could compare Chopin Nocturnes all day long and never feel the need to buyBuyBUY!!!- I am glad I've finally hit the CD ceiling-I've transformed into a "free listener" now for the most part.

I'm still waiiiiiiiiiiiiting for my last Zzoverstock disc to show up (they're another cure for CDCDCD, lololol!!!!), and, I haven'tbeen able to panic myself into materialism- I'm JUST waiting, oh the pain&suffering...

I'm finding my CDCDCD to be related to stress.  Lately I'm having insomnia and worrying about a job promotion and a publishing deadline...and find myself simultaneously drawn to buying boxes of music ???

I haven't bought a classical music since April 13 (A Graupner disc).
In May I have only pre-ordered Autechre's NTS Sessions 1-4 (8 CDs).

I don't even listen to music that much anymore. I watch YouTube: Kyle Kulinski's venting on American politics and Star Wars fans ranting about Kathleen Kennedy ruining the franchise with SJW propaganda...  ...who has time for music when the World around us is so interestingly f*cked up?
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

That is precisely why I listen to so much music

Funny enough my CDCDCD also is related to stress but the other way round. When I am stressed I do not want to purchase new CDs.
