Pounds table...but I thought you already had this box?

As you were right to suspect, I did look at that early on.  The box did not seem a good option for me, as I already had all the Shostakovich, and at the time I was still suffering from my delusion that there was anything like a problem with the Les noces performance.

Could have had me fooled !

Looks a bit like this one:

Bierstadt, the painter for the Linn recording, was known for his Yosemite paintings. If you like the style, you will like the series of landscapes he did of Yosemite, not to mention the many others he did of the Western US.
Be kind to your fellow posters!!

Then the rest, if you want it.
(In order of what I am guessing your interest would be)
[asin]B00000E305[/asin]
Symphonies in C/ in 3 Movements
[asin]B00000E2OL[/asin]
Petrushka/Scenes de Ballet
[asin]B00ZDGPPGK[/asin]

There's a double CD issue , but you would miss out on the Symphony in C and Pulcinella

Tangentially related, since the Tombeau a Benny includes the Ebony Concerto

Hope you enjoy the Beethoven as much as others here, including me, have done.

I actually attended this performance at the Chatelet theatre.  There was quite a bit of audio visual projections.  I dont know how they manage it on this dvd release.  I did not care about Glass music, but overall the show was enjoyable.

Yes; it is one of my favorite sets. I had already, some time ago. compared individual movements in a listening-session with a violinist friend and this was our surprise winner then.
That's not the same as listening to complete sonatas -- much less all of them -- but that promise was certainly delivered on.

Nice one. Was my "Best of the Year", ten eleven years ago. Perhaps I should re-visit. Lots of music there to enjoy.
