BTW, it's also available this Leonhardt set which includes, for instance, his first Goldbergs and his first recording of the AoF:

A good set, Geo. You should find much enjoyment in there.  :) Might contain my favorite 3rd (only say might because I have too damn many to keep track of properly)

Yes, I've been certain of it after you gave me that detailed review in the listening thread.  As I mentioned there, the 3rd is my favorite so I think it will be a good measure of how I feel about the set.

But for almost $3.  Outrageously expensive!  :)

I ordered the Hogwood  Haydn box for the all-time low price on amazon.co.uk.

I am really keen to check out Minkowski's Gluck; I'm sure there's already been plenty of discussion about those recordings at GMG, but I've heard great things.  Lots of things are popping up in this thread that I now need.   :-X
It's also crazy that I own no Carmignola, as he was definitely one of the people who first brought Vivaldi to life for me, several years ago.

Schubert sonatas on fortepianos, by Badura-Skoda (Arcana, 9cd)
For $25 shipped from Outhere online shop direct.  Amazing deal; h/t Nav, my navigator.

I bought this Schubert box set, too.

And Carmignola's newest Vivaldi CD, "Con Moto" (on the cover of which he appears in sunglasses and on a motorcycle), is really incredibly good - I made it a Recording of the Month over at MusicWeb.

I also gave in and ordered this.  I've been dreaming of it for months and that price is irresistible.  Given all the other stuff I'm ordering it'll break my budget, but only by about ten dollars, so I can deal with it.

Me three.  I'm hoping it will get to me before I go on vacation.

Amazon UK says it had 10 in stock when I clicked the buy button.  That means 9 more GMGers have their chance at this.

I'd like to hear comments on this one. I'm very picky with my quintet D. 956 recordings, but period instruments are very tempting.

I don't own a PI recording of 956, this will be my first, but have been heavily impressed with my recent Bylsma purchases of Vivaldi, Bach and Schubert Piano Trios, so I have high hopes for this.

A top performance - their greatest success outside of Mozart IMO.

Long standing favourite of mine, as well as Gurn and others here. Has been a while since we discussed it! :)

Don't know about the Schubert, but the Britten is a good 'un.

.. arrived this moring
from Hyperion:   JANACEK: The Eternal Gospel, Ballad of Blanik, The Fiddler's Child, ..Mr. Brouček suite  and in the Leslie Howard LISZT collection vol. 45: Rapsodie espagnole and other pieces on Spanish themes
and from amazon the 25-disc set from DHarmonia Mundi.  A 24-paqe multilingual booklet on the history of DHM up to its acquisition by BMG is the only accompanying text.  Since the vocal stuff is mainly masses and other religious music, texts are probably in one's collection somewhere.   PERGOLESI's La Serva Padrona may be a rarity I suspect.  Leonhardt's Goldberg Variations disc plays 47:19 if there's a question about which performance.

A combination of a sale at importCDs and one disc (the first one) being heavily out of print motivated me to knock out a few items that I've been meaning to get around to for a while:

Simply gorgeous SACD sound.  Ravishing, in fact.

Thank you Que for the recommendation!

Also: La Petite Bande's latest Brandenburg Concertos 2 SACD release on the Accent label (for some reason the amazon ASIN image doesn't work, so I didn't include it here).  Very "chamber-like" is my fist impression after a go-through with it this morning.  Looking forward to further listens with this one. . .
