I've collected that series in its MP3 format since its inception. I loved it so, that I burned them to disc and canned them in jewel cases with artwork et al. Sometimes it's pointless to resist  :-\

Yeah. Big booklet included - that was before alpha stopped doing booklets for boxed reissues (which is a real pity, methinks - I'd gladly pay a tener or so more to get the booklet!)

Notes and Editorial Reviews
An Andrés Segovia Award winner (Música en Compostela, Spain), Israeli-born Nadav Lev has earned his rightful place among today's most gifted young guitar virtuosos. For his Delos debut, Lev has assembled a fascinating and highly varied program of music by six of the finest among Israel's current, young composer crop. The music ranges from lovely vocal treatments of ancient Ladino Jewish songs (with violin) to edgy and gripping works (some including live electronics) crossing into the realm of the avant-garde. "... a talented and engagingly musical performer..." (Classical Guitar Magazine)

Hey MI, did you see that next week Naxos is releasing a world premiere recording of Leo Brouwer's new guitar concerto? Also comes with "Guitare" by Frank Martin.

I've always had great respect for Paddington because he is amusingly English and a eccentric bear He is a great British institution and emits great wisdom with every growl. Of course I have Paddington at home, he is a member of the family, sure he is from the moment he was born. We have adopted him.

The Swedish Society disc (with the Lapland Metamorphoses) is rather ancient and dull sounding but the MUSIC is absolutely superb.  Expertly crafted, beguiling and full of original touches. A must for the swedish section of your discotheque !  :D

I've heard good things about Koch's music and I finally did a little investigating myself and was surprised by the results. My Swedish collection has gotten rather large over the years with Atterberg, Pettersson, Stenhammar, Alfven, Peterson-Berger, Larsson, Nystroem, and Rosenberg being the composers that are mainly represented. Koch may end up being my favorite Swede. Only time will tell.
