You're asking how cold it was on that day? It was around -23oC, or -9½oF, and add to that the snowing. In other words, damn cold to be relatively still for a long time, hands exposed.

From a dinner time walk last week at the end of my block.  Taken with my tablet, and resized to fit here.  The rains held off until this week, which is why the lake looks low.
All this, btw, is artificial.  The lake is a filled in dredge pit from which much of the earth used to build up the original swamp came.

Seriously though, that is cold. No problems with the camera equipment at those temperatures?
