Nobody should feel like they should view the cops as the enemy. The bigger problem is actually more and more police who routinely terrify and bully citizens. We're hearing more stories now because of the internet and social media. Try being a woman and reporting a rape. Women just get ignored by police and brushed aside. Anyone who's not white is basically a target. None of this is new; the stories now are just spreading faster, and it's a good thing.

Here in Albuquerque, police officers have a good reputation except that they like to kill folks of all colors.

It's so much easier to just shoot the animal than to, you know, do your job properly and ethically. And it's not like these cops actually get punished for this stuff! Why not shoot?
