apologies for a dumb question - how do you insert an image from your own desktop?  Clicking on the icon above just gives me the "" link - and uploading a file/image as a post attachment doesn't embed that image as far as I can tell in the preview panel..... (I know I am missing something very obvious so thankyou in advance!)
This forum doesn't allow uploading images which is a nuisance. You need to upload the images on an image host site and link to it.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Thanks 71db - as it happens just found the image for truly awful artwork on Amazon.com anyway!  Here it is:

The disc is very good - Temirkanov's version of the film score - not the cantata - of Alexander Nevsky.  The artwork goes for a Spinal Tap does Eisenstein vibe.........

Why were [Bernstein and Karajan] so much in love with their mugs? Napoleon complex comes to mind...

I don't think the fault's entirely theirs. When Rudolf Bing was manager of the Met, his first attempt to lure Karajan was the Zeffirelli production of Falstaff, which Bernstein had originally conducted. Bing wrote in his memoirs "Karajan had one major rival for the laurel of world's sexiest conductor: Leonard Bernstein." And this was coming from a straight man.

Not true. You can upload images from your computer alright. Just click "Attachments and other options" under the Reply box and then click on Browse. The only limitation is they should be no larger than 500 KB.

Warning: the image itself does not appear on clicking Preview but will be there after clicking Post.

At first I thought it was a lobster.

Mahler 6 did have the unofficial nickname 'Der Hummer' for a time but it didn't catch on.

Saw a great one on Twitter today:

I am quite literally laughing out loud.

You're right. What a mismatch.

That is amazing.

With the babe in the reverse position it would actually make sense...

But he's looking in the opposite direction.

I think the meaning is that the circus is in town.

Looks like they used the same hand/arm with four different filters.

In the past I have said that cover art doesn't influence me either way but I now have to admit that this would probably put me off buying. If it was an exceptional performance I might buy it as a lossless download; that means I would never have to look at the 'artwork' ever again.
