True. The constant negativity doesn't help.
You might find that positivity can lend itself to frivolity and not fix anything.

I can't say that I'm shocked to hear this.

Well! :o I never!! :D

OK, seems I'm not as dumped as I thought I was,... mm ::),... yes, it was all me acting like a little girly-man, call the wahmbulance,... yes, the power of a drunk girl's absent mindedness is greater than my puny feelings!

So, now at least, actually, my talking too much seems better than I imagined.

You're going to love this, but, at one point in the very latest conversation, she said, "You're like my intellectual overlord"!!!! Ask me if I popped a boner!!

Yea,... boy, I'm such a weeny boy- this chick was brought up more self reliant than I was,... no one wants to "be the chick" it seems, lolz!!

Oh, if you're not laughing you're crying, I guess,... mm :blank:

At least you have a woman, snyprrr. I have had two failed attempts recently. One attempt was online with a woman I thought would be fun to go out with, but, long story short, she ended up being incredibly inconsiderate and not someone of their word. The next woman gave me her number after we seemed to hit it off but then backed out of the idea of possibly going out on a date, which left me holding the bag. Damn, I'm just so tired of looking, but I'm not giving up. I've got to stay optimistic even though it may seem kind of bleak for me right now.

How do you even meet these people?

The only girl I even talk to now is my friend who I was talking about before. I'm only still trying to hang out with her again because my other friends are too busy (we really have nothing in common). I had to resort to tagging along with my friend while he's doing deliveries at work just to see a friend, and he's the only friend I've been able to hang out with in a few months.

And I had the time to see him only because for some reason my professor isn't assigning homework this week. Doesn't quite work well when everyone is busy 40-60 hours a week and have different schedules.

The one woman I met online, I met on POF, which has mostly been a dead-end, but I seemed to find someone I had some things in common with. The other woman is a fellow associate and, like I said, we seemed to hit it off, but apparently not. ::) Anyway, I'm quite fortunate in that 1. I live in a pretty populated area and 2. this is a college town (w/ three colleges spread out), so there's an influx of women here, but I seem to still be striking out left and right. Like I said, I'm staying optimistic as should you, Greg.

But, with you, Greg, it's like I said before, you're just going to have to wait until you're able to live in a more populated area. Until then, it's just going to be one dry spell after another.

I have no idea what you're getting at...  ???

Regardless, that's just my personal preference... it would just be so much more fun to date a girl that you can take to a metal or classical concert, anime convention, or whatever than one that wants you to go to stupid parties all the time.

i'd like a girl who isn't offended by the thought of me :(

I wish I knew someone I could have a crush on. The last time I sort of had a crush was that one girl from 5 years ago.

I liked this girl at work and I even got her number and everything, but, boy, does she have some major baggage and not the kind I'd like to bring home or even deal with myself.

A friend's facebook post:

QuoteThings I'm still looking for:
>a sense of accomplishment
>legitimate shiny Pokémon
>the next season of my favorite shows
>motivation (and help) to finish writing some songs
but, what I really want is:
>a cute girl who will watch anime with me
Couldn't be more accurate.

Dreaming is a dangerous thing. Better to keep in mind that the world is just a random thing and asking that much from it is an unreasonable request.

Marriage seems like a disaster to me. :)

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Well if you marry some sexy porn star and keep her from doing business.

Oh, come on. You guys oughta know by now:

I was watching the first episode of that show and just falling in love with her again. Can't stop thinking about her, especially when I'm miserable, which is most of the time. Her goofy imperfections are what make her so adorable and perfect.

So you don't believe me? Well, take a look at this! Marriage equality has come to the west, thanks to the influence from Japan.

Would only even consider if that sort of lifestyle were in the past. And getting over the thought of soooo many dudes being in there and the fact that it's probably like a black hole would be a hurdle.
Foxy sluts = overrated. Normal, attractive girls = best.
