The most famous pro-Trump artist in the U.S. has moved into his 'Mueller' phase.

AMERICAN FORK, UTAH — Jon McNaughton did not intend to become the country's most famous pro-Trump, mass-market painter of the 21st century. But then, to achieve such an identity does require a modicum of cultivation; it does not happen overnight.

In 2008, the Utah artist was selling landscapes out of a gallery in a shopping mall. Then the presidential election happened and McNaughton, who didn't like John McCain or Barack Obama, was struck with inspiration. The result, "One Nation Under God," was a massive canvas featuring Jesus Christ holding a copy of the Constitution, surrounded by Davy Crockett, Ronald Reagan and 61 other historical figures dismayed by the direction of the country (Satan, also in the painting, was pleased). It wasn't particularly subtle, but something about the work spoke to people and a new creative doorway was opened.

You might have seen, for example, "The Forgotten Man," in which Obama ignores a weeping citizen on a park bench while the Founding Fathers implore him to pay attention. Or, "The Demise of America," in which he fiddles while the U.S. Capitol burns. Or, "One Nation Under Socialism," in which he has lit the Constitution on fire.

After the 2016 election, McNaughton's paintings gained a hero in Donald Trump instead of just a villain in Obama: a sequel to "The Forgotten Man," "You Are Not Forgotten," features the same weeping citizen, now planting a tree as Trump looks on benevolently.

Yes. McNaughton is that guy."

I'm guessing he didn't do another one with Bill Clinton beating up Ken Starr.

Bill Clinton is usually pictured with a group of Dem Judases applauding Obama for wiping his feet on the constitution while George Washington and Abe Lincoln are with the WASPs and MAGAs applauding Trump and his right hand man Jesus stepping in. Or something of that nature.

It's an interesting interview with the guy. And it sounds like he's massively popular.

Stephanie Kelton Has The Biggest Idea In Washington

This wasn't supposed to happen according to my view. The political parties are deeply committed to the idea that money comes from people who vote for the other party.

MMT says dollars have to be spent into existence before they can be taxed back, that it's necessarily the case that the dollars you pay in taxes come from government spending. Government therefore can't get tax money to spend. It spends the dollars you have, taxes take some away, and the difference is the dollar savings in the whole economy, though it's more often called the "national debt".

The most fun part for me is that some ideas commonly held (!) logically entail MMT claims. Everyone knows the national debt consists of dollars that haven't been taxed back, that paying it down would come from net taxation instead of net spending, so the national dollar savings equals the debt. People who've never heard of MMT know, without knowing they know, that its central pillar of money creation is the case.

How do you know what your opinion is if you can't state it plainly? If you seem to be trying to confuse other people, or recruit them into a rats nest of convolution, it could be that you never got to the stage of making your ideas clear to yourself. But you could also try to explain what you mean to someone else, and keep trying until the meaning of what you say becomes apparent to you, too!

I've spent years arguing about MMT on another site, and an interesting consequence of that is that in the process of constantly searching for ways to express these ideas I made them my own. I got to understand them by explaining them.

Because T is not a pol, the way he is being "handled" (by TheEntity(copyright pending)) shows up the inner machinations of said entity through the cracks that reveal themselves because of the panic that has set in because everyone really really just believed... they just BELIEVED... that Hilldawg was gonna win. Hence emails galore...

T - sure- he is SORTA one of them, but , gosh, there's something missing apparently... THIS IS SO HIGH SCHOOL, can't we all see that he's the one rich kid who ('s daddy) didn't make his money the way the other rich kids' parents made theirs, and so, even though he is technically "one of them", it is oh so obvious that he is NOT.

It's a clubby,... uh,... tribal kind of thing,... eh?

'Too inconvenient': Trump goes rogue on phone security

"President Donald Trump uses a White House cell phone that isn't equipped with sophisticated security features designed to shield his communications, according to two senior administration officials – a departure from the practice of his predecessors that potentially exposes him to hacking or surveillance.

The president, who relies on cellphones to reach his friends and millions of Twitter followers, has rebuffed staff efforts to strengthen security around his phone use, according to the administration officials."

It's not something you dare not say, because you are always saying how evil Jews are and how they control everything. But a conspiracy directed by your usual suspects is a distraction from a real conspiracy by unusual suspects for which there is actual evidence aplenty.

It now appears that people all over the world figured they could get in on the action and buy a chunk of TrumpPutin for themselves. How did they figure this out while you play in the anti-Semite sandbox? That's the thing about conspiracy thinking, when the real thing comes along you're preoccupied looking the wrong way.
