I don't care what anybody says, 5150 is one of the great Van Halen albums. One of their best, IMO.

Had to look up the name. You are the Woman is a great mellow song. Is the rest of that compilation as good as that song?

I had not heard of them myself. Thid website www.music-map.com recommended them to me saying it's the band that most resembles Pure Prairie League, a band I've grown quite fond of.
As for the compilation, their 70s material is good but then they seem to have succumbed to that 80's sound  :-\ I think the first two or three albums may be worth checking ouy

thelonious monk - piano
johnny griffin - tenor sax
ahmed abdul-malik - bass

nah, Charlie Rouse was the best sax player w/ monk.  No "licks" in Charlie's solos - no Jazz player was better at improvising within the structure and motives of the tune

The kids are really impressed by old farts who try to adopt adolescent slang.  It makes them seem so...groovy!

Man, I could listen to this album all day...

The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.

-- William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
