Dancing Divertimentian

Veit Bach-a baker who found his greatest pleasure in a little cittern which he took with him even into the mill and played while the grinding was going on. In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

What's not to love about this???

Back in the days I downloaded left and right, I often made up my own cd covers when the discs didn't have an official image I could copy (I like making up a physical disc with jewel case, cover, timings etc).

This is what I chose for a recording of the Pathétique Symphony:

Posted on the Cocteau Twins fan site I belong to as the "Sixth most under-appreciated Cocteau Twins song."  CGI (from the film "The Lovely Bones") and song both exceptional.

"You overestimate my power of attraction," he told her. "No, I don't," she replied sharply, "and neither do you".

Yeah,  it certainly is. And while such as Man Ray and Weston remained an influence/inspiration for him he moved away, moved forward and stoked controversy in doing so - in these examples it was all in the name of selling shoes. Oh so serious, contrived, in part erotic, but definitely amusing too.
