He graduated in composition from the Conservatories of Milan (with Azio Corghi) and Paris.

Author of chamber and symphonic music, he is also particularly attentive to the new possibilities of musical theater: in his works destined for the stage - from Machinery to Lego to Animal Chronicles to When it rained hats in Milan to Alianti - he often brings together the great classical tradition and the jazz, songs, electronic explorations and memories.
