Mandryka

Quote from: T. D. on November 11, 2023, 06:23:54 AMVery much want to read it, but it's expensive and not available via interlibrary loan. :'(

I have it. Buy it if you can, you won't regret it if you're interested in exploring the music and the period. There's a sort of palpable passion for the music which I never felt in his book on Dufay. That makes it both scholarly and inspiring to read -- a rare combination.

From Cut Circle's website:
"Album releasing in October 2023, the first in a series devoted to Josquin's complete works".

That'll do nicely.

I ordered it [Josquin by David Fallows]. Paperback wasn't terribly extravagant and I justified the purchase as a reward after an extended hassle-filled period at work.
