Hotel Mumbai

Which is outstanding. About the terror attack in 2008.

As Good As It Gets

Undoubtedly my favourite Nicholson performance of all time. Helen Hunt is also excellent.

My vote goes to his portrayal of Eugene O'Neill in Reds

Reds was such a wonderful film. I have not watched it in quite a long time and therefore must revisit it sometime soon.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Properly. Having finally read the book.

I'd seen fragments of the film before, including the climax (which did slightly affect reading the book). But not the whole thing.

The film does rather feel like it's ticking the boxes of the book's plot points, which is perhaps inevitable. But I gather some of the later films with different directors are viewed a bit more favourably.

Their Finest

I thought that this was a really good story that was well told and acted.

Security

Not bad entertainment with most of the action taking place in a shopping mall.

Watched The Predator on a flight.  The movie itself is one of the worst big-budget movies of the century so far, and the cleaned up language for the flight made it even worse.
What airline was it? I watched The Favourite on Lufthansa a couple months ago and it still had all the canoodling intact.

The Last Laugh

Chase and Dreyfuss are both very good in this different slant on the road movie theme. Totally recommended.

Gravity

Great visuals but that is about it for me.

Ironically I watched this film a day before it was announced that Robert Pattinson is potentially the next Bruce Wayne/Batman. Forget his Twilight years, Robert is a serious actor, and this mesmerizing movie proves it.

Delta.  At least the in-flight meal was decent.
