Couldn't really say as I was only watching it desultorily in between errands. I had seen the first several times before, though. One of the few big budget extravaganzas I actually like.

Hehe I feel that way about it too, which made me all the sadder for disliking 2 and 3 :( (Although it is the fault of the studio.)

For sf I think Bladerunner is the best that I've seen in hd glory.  (a) it's actually good, (b) astoundingly amazing pq and aq.

I haven't seen it in HD, but in even reg-def, the Final Cut is a beauty to watch!

hahaha!  I always think Larry, Darrel and Darrel when I see that guy. :D  Good to see that I'm not alone. ;D

Watched Space Chimps at work. Pretty terrible. Seems like something they've had shelved for several years and just decided to release it now.

Young at Heart (2007) - documentary about a 'singing group' of oldsters - enjoyable, sad, and heart rendering at times - really worth a watch!  We first did a Netflix rental, then purchased the DVD which we watched last night.  Great reviews from the Amazonians (45/47 5*) - CLICK on the image.  Rotten Tomatoes Rating of 88% (expected in the 90s, guess some critics have no heart!  :D) -  :)

Guess that I've been 'holding off' because the original w/ Falk & Arkin is just a classic - own that one & watch it at least once a year - just a RIOT! Dave  ;D
