Yes, my Vivaldi is here as well, Harry.  :)

Thanks very much.

Once I wade through the loads of Dylan Bootlegs that I have recently "aquired" I will get to listening to both the Vivaldi and the Glazunov Box.

See link for details

Playing this for the fourth time, now, loving the music, but I am not sure about the performance.....

Well both Mozart operas found a good home. People must be starving after classical music in the USA, 95% of my parcels go that way! ;D

Yes, I must update, my box has landed in Texas too!  :D

Harry, I can't imagine you didn't want that Martinon Debussy anymore, it is so good. That French orchestra gives an utterly charming La Mer! Many, many thanks, I didn't even have recordings of some of those pieces before.

Will break open that Sinding this weekend! You're a doll.  :-*

Greta my dear, the Martinon was double in my collection, so I still have it, and yes its as good as can be expected.
The Sinding you have, has been replaced by CPO recordings, that sounded better on my primary system, and the performances are a tad better.
But I hope you have a less critical stereo, and then they will do just fine.
So all is well that ends well, to use a phrase from Shakespeare. :)
I hope you enjoy them all.

Cheers

This gift arrived this week from Harry.

I've listened to the first 3 disc's so far which I've greatly enjoyed. Interesting to note that most of these choral works were not published untill '83...1983! So they are all unfamiliar, so far, and a joy to 'discover'. The artwork on the individual cd sleeves is also outstanding.

Thanks Harry  :)
