Have just returned from the pub where I watched Chelsea v Barcelona as I don't have Sky Sports at home. As a (very) long term Chelsea supporter this was a predictably disastrous evening. Mobile phone contact with my daughter, watching the match in Leiden, made it more bearable. Certainly it was not as bad as John Terry's penalty miss in the Champions League final last year. Hohum  ::)

Haha, more pretend death threats from Chelsea fans. Given how easy people are to locate when they post these online, it's a shame that they never seem to be prosecuted. Idle threats, certainly, but they deserve their day being ruined yet further for being so immature :P

Undutchable

As a totally unbiased Man Utd supporter  >:D I'm glad we get to play against the Barca with 3 of the their 4 defenders out of the final, but.... Chelsea, I feel your pain :'(

The thing to watch today is the relegation battles!

I am hoping for Middlesborough to win and both Newcastle and Hull to lose. It would be nice to see a team thinking it is too good to go down (Magpie was never too good this year at any point) to get relegated. (I was hoping that would be Tottenham at the beginning of the year!)

Good to see "Massive Club" Newcastle go down.

Nice to see 2 of the promoted side stay up.

Yes I agree. And I know that you'll all be supporting my team Chelsea in the FA Cup Final  ;D

The final day of the EPL has to be the most inconsequential in recent memory as ALL teams with something to play for lost.

Now, to the Champions League Final.

What about rugby?

If we are going that route, gotta go with Aussie Rules!

(BTW, Vanessa is a huge All Black supporter, having lived in New Zealand and watched many of their matches, usually standing in a small stool made by the man of the house in her host family to compensate for her lack of height.)

What could go better with classical music than the stately pace of a game of cricket with all its measured complexities :)

Got a little scare fairly early, didn't you?  ;D

Congrats!

Yes it did! I missed the Everton goal as I was just making myself a cup of tea before settling down to watch the match on TV.

Thank you  :)
