A pity, I really wanted that set. :(

I see. I'll make sure to let you know first if I see it again at that price point (assuming I can't have it shipped to me, that is ;)).

Is that set OOP already? It used to be available for a decent price. Let's hope it will be reissued.

I confess it was me, sorry :( Mozart is a bit of a blind-spot for me, and of the chamber music I only know the SQs, VSs and PQs. Danke muchly for the pointer, Nav.

Already posted by DavidW in Reply 1378 to this thread, but a reminder's always good. Similar deals can be had for the Tchaikovsky and Glazunov symphonies and most of the Debussy piano music.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm already getting slightly feverish in hopes that Abeille Musique's winter clearance will be back on top form this year...

Does Abeille Musique's also go by Fabulous CD at Amazon MarketPlace?  If so, I have bought a few times from them ...

Snap.  Barely 30 minutes ago I was sniffing around their site looking for a mention of when it would start.  (Nothing yet, that I could see.)

Did a quick GMG search; the 2010 sale began on 6 January and ended at the beginning of February. Hey, what's the delay!

Hi Brian,

Abeille Musique is a French company so I assume they have the follow the sale period which is defined year on year by law. It's the same all across France with some exceptions for a few counties. Looks like this year it starts on Jan 11th.

Just an assumption - might be different for internet based business ?

From what I can gather, yes. I've gotten some of Brilliant's Russian Archives releases at really good prices from them.

Sacre blue! The government gets to tell French businesses when they can have a clearance sale?

Well, that's a nice thing to remember to throw back at the next Republican who tells me the Democrats are trying to turn the US into a European country.
