I have that set. I don't care much for Sawallisch's symphonies. There are MUCH better alternatives out there. But you probably already have those anyway. However Lev Markiz's set of String Symphonies is worth the cost of the whole set. They are a top choice. The concertos, chamber and choral music is all very solid on this set. (There are better Elijahs) Definitely worth getting.

I have not spent my own money on Amazon in 3 months (but I did use gift cards I was given). They are having a bad year between this and their refusal to sell Hachette Books.

I gave up after shipping costs kept approximating the amount for the discs themselves. Just like I did with their recent Brilliant sale.  They are a bunch of idiots, if I count the many times I decided at the last moment to look elsewhere.....

Interesting, for an even cheaper issue of the Janowski Ring.  Some mixed reviews on Amazon, Re: certain other issues within the set    But its ideal for a noobie to whet yond beak.

Amazon also made searching on their site more difficult.  To search for low to high prices is more difficult now and makes for buying marketplace buyers the cheaper alternative impossible to find.

This is about the best instrumental Telemann around and a great bargain (I have 8 or 9 of the 10 discs separately). Even those who may believe that Telemann only produced shallow muzak should give it a chance!
