This one has been in my wishlist for a loooong time. Camelcamelcamel price alert (£4.98) made me buy it finally today.

I am trying to bolster my SACD collection but I have found nothing out of classical on SACD that interests me.  :(

Thanks very much for posting the Hope Sandoval album Until The Hunter in the listening thread - I ended up buying it and enjoying it very much :).

Think this album is a bit under-appreciated by SP fans - this is another MP3 to CD upgrade purchase.

I think you posted these here by mistake :o - I picked up the recording of the Orchestral Suites recently too; I am sure you are going to like it.

It's an excellent album for sure - agree that Hope is very consistent.
Always a pleasure to hear her sing.

I haven't seen a recent picture of her either now that you mention it.. - yes, she certainly was an attractive Lady in her Younger days.
I don't know much about her I guess - I remember reading once she was/is involved with Jim Reid from The Jesus and Mary Chain.
I stopped reading about the private lives of musicans I like these days (for the most part).

If I remember correctly, I don't have ANY non-classical SACDs. When I discovered Tangerine Dream I tried to get Rubycon SACD, but it was ridiculously expensive*, so I got the normal CD, which was very cheap. Nowadays SACD is a classical music thing only and understandably so, because it's the kind of music that benefits from the format most.

* Now, a decade later it's even more ridiculously expensive,  £188.58 on Amazon.co.uk marketplace.  :P  ;D  >:D  :(

Lea Michele's debut album Louder was a lacklustre mishmash, but Places is exactly what she should be doing. This kind of "Broadway pop" is her thing. It's what I envisioned to be the optimal music style for her years ago (based on Glee). So, of course I want this album. It's as if she telepathically read my mind.
