This guy really does some advanced and cool things. Cool artwork as well. I also have his work Stellar Pulsations. Have listened to it too little. Time for some more attention.

There's a video store opposite a convenient branch of my bank that carries Bo Ying knock-offs of videos Today I picked up  The Man in the White Suit (score by Benjamin Frankel) and The Most Dangerous Game (score by Max Steiner).  The only extras on these editions are the Chinese subtitles.

The Jacques Tati collection on Blu-Ray.   Amazon.ca got to the best price since it includes shipping and is also the right zone.  I nearly fell into the trap of ordering the British set until I noticed it's zone B.  There's an unexpected Brucknerian twist to this set, a couple of the titles come with another or several re-edits and formats.

I've only seen a few films from that set, but they are so great!

I actually buy precious little other than classical (I used to be into tech-house during my clubbing years, but those are now gone   ;) ), but saw this--that I owned on LP many, many years ago--and couldn't help getting it:

It's a rather odd big-band jazz album (from Switzerland), but the opening track El Chancho, featuring (and composed by) bandoneonist Dino Saluzzi is memorable, IMHO.

Love this one, even though it has an air of Social Fable.

Not bought many records the last few weeks - my haul for the last couple of months (the SP, Pixies and B & S albums were all pre-orders and the KC album is the deluxe box) :):
