Could someone please go to 8.18 of this video and identify the piano music which Norstein uses for this clip of Gogol's Overcoat? I've heard it many times but just can't remember who composed it.

That sounds like Tchaikovsky, played by Sviatoslav Richter.  Will get more definite later.
