I think the nerdiest answer I gave was not going on a date in years. :(
Really well written quiz, by the way. I never felt that the answers provided for a given question failed to include a right answer for me; they gave good ranges of Q's and A's.
Internet vs. Sex  ;D ;D

Not sure how I got a 21% on sci-fi/comic as I don't read or watch any sci-fi at all and the only comic I read is Calvin and Hobbes.

Sarge
Indeed, Sarge. You'll have to be the alpha alpha, as you scored even lower in science and technology than I did.

It told me that I must have taken the test before; though I have not.

I wasted time: and time wasted me.

Well, that's a good reason, so nothing sinister.

Happy Birthday to my dear neighbour, the United States of America!  And a very happy 4th of July to my GMG friends down south.  Enjoy!   :)

Happy 235th to my fellow Americans! For the Fourth I wrote a blog post called Ten Things I Miss About America. :)

Interesting and enjoyable post, though I differ from you on several points. One of the things I like about Australia is that people don't try to talk to you on public transport (except for wackos or foreigners practicing their English). And actually I don't buy your point completely anyway - New York is famous for its non-chatty subway.

He's from Texas, and it's a bit different in the south.
But there is next to no public transportation throughout most of the US, so I think he must mean other places. Or maybe not- if he lived in the city, that's a different story, since I can't remember which city he is from- he'd have to clarify that.

There's a light rail system in Houston, albeit a modest one. Admittedly most of my interactions there were with people asking, "Which way to the football stadium?"

I actually don't mind keeping quiet on the Tube, most of the time, although I am a natural seeker of eye contact and the Tube was mainly an example of the broader trend. As Dundonnell has pointed out to me, however, a lot of that is "a city thing" and not a pan-UK phenomenon.

I've never been to New York!

Hehe interesting list, although my experience with public transport involves a lot of "you first", "no you"s - perhaps London's underground is more formalised?

Just watched the "Morgan Freeman's Through The Wormhole Season 2-Is There a Sixth Sense?" episode.
I wonder how true some of the stuff is.
One thing I've noticed is that how easy it is to predict the future sometimes. If you just listen to hunches, you'll often be right.

I was looking for my pants, but didn't see them at first in my room. I had a hunch they were in the bathroom, but didn't give it much thought until I looked all over my room and still couldn't find them. Then, I found them in the bathroom, and almost got a heart attack, because I had no idea they were in there (completely forgot).

Seems if I listened to intuition before, I could have predicted the future more easily. So when I actually sit down and think about it, I'm pretty sure I know my future now.

I wonder if you caught the recent article with your name (minus a letter or two, but pronounced almost the same) in it.
