The new erato

Recent arrival. Great work and very good performances and recording. You could have knocked me over with a feather when the applause at the end revealed that this was a live recording.

My surprise expresses, that there is no picture on my PC to tell, what this is about. So I cannot comment it.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL COUPERIN FANS.

The Olivier Baumont set is re-released in August the 24 for € 28,- euros....10 CD'S

I pre ordered it right away!
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

I just went through the Vorschau on JPC for the coming months, and there it was. At first I could not believe my eyes, but it is going to happen ;D

And by the way, volume VI of the Fitzwilliam book (Byrd) is also to be released, (Brilliant) I look forward to that one too.

Mozart, WA - String & Clarinet Quintets w/ the Talich Quartet; also own the string quintets w/ the Nash Ensemble - have not done much comparison; both are older sets in my collection - have not explored any more recent releases - suggestions?  Dave :)

P.S. PDF attached w/ a Distler review (10/10) for those who may like his comments - ;)
