plus the Blu-Ray of Hitchcock's Dial M for Murder

  Sweet haul!
I myself broke down and picked up a second hand copy of this:

    I feel a bit guilty about it...but for $1 a disk, couldn't resist...
It's all good...

Nice! 'Dial M for Murder' has a great soundtrack as well.

More Kilar (Bolero meets Conan the Barbarian and Damien Omen 2 soundtracks). I love it!

It especially applies to the track 'Exodus' I think PD  ;D

I see that he wrote the soundtrack to the film "The Ninth Gate" (which I saw years ago).  Here's a link to it:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HRQkXvw2I4

Yes, I saw that he had done that.  From what I remember, I wasn't keen on that movie remake?  Maybe I should rewatch it.  By the way, have you ever watched "The Ninth Gate"?  If so, what did you think of it?

No, I haven't seen The Ninth Gate or Dracula but I enjoy the soundtrack for Dracula as a stand alone work.

Purchased a used copy of Casals' recording of the Bach Suites for unaccompanied cello released by Naxos.

I have the EMI release, which I think is universally described as horrible. (I seem to recall they didn't have original source materials and had to base their release of shellac discs in circulation.) First spot-listen seems to indicate that Ward Marston has done a better job.

I've seen it, also read the novel it was based on, The Dumas Club.  What was lost in translation to the screen was the obsession people had with collecting different editions of Alexandre Dumas' novels.  The movie had more of a supernatural angle than the novel did.  But yeah I liked it.
