They're great! Yes, Fazi is still a little rough, but Zeus holds his own. It is very heartwarming to see them snuggling/napping together, so I'd say they are very well bonded.

If l were to render Zeus's expression into words, they might be:

Dude... really? How many pictures of us do you need:laugh:

That said, they do seem to thoroughly belong to each other.  8)

I think that Fazi is saying "Kid, don't move.  I'm now thoroughly comfortable."  ;D  ;)

So, do you now have toys that the two of them can play together with either you and/or your wife using them--wand toys are really good--trust me.  :)  They are both trying to catch the thing vs. spending so much time beating up on each other.  Just some thoughts.

Oh sure. Lucy and Ethel had at least 6 or 8, which we kept, and we bought two new ones for the boys. They love playing with them.

O.K., so he's not exactly saying "Woo hoo", but still cute.  ;)

He's just trying to figure out how to tie his own, like the big cats.  ;)

It's a string and I'm a cat...so what exactly were you expecting me to do?!

And a very merry Christmas to you and them.

Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I ran across this yesterday and thought of all of the cat lovers here and what life can be like for those who like to put up Christmas decorations:

Hope that you and your furbabies have a safe and happy Christmas.

Ha, yes! My parents have put a circle perimeter of upside down mousetraps around the Christmas tree and presents. That way if their cats try to eat the ribbons, the upside down trap will pop and make noise but not cause any harm.

I stumbled across Arlo and Janis a few months ago; love it!  ;D  Hadn't seen this particular one.  Is it new?  I did run across these (older) ones a while ago.

Interesting approach!  I'd be a bit worried about their paws getting caught in one of the traps?

I did see (on I think the same video that I had shared) of some owners putting some sort of a play tunnel around the base of the tree.  Their cat(s) seemed to enjoy playing in them and stopped chomping on/climbing, etc. the tree.

And Merry Christmas back at her!  I see also that she is dressed in her holiday finery.  ;)

As a side note:  when my cats passed away, my vet gave me paw prints of them (baked into some sort of resin) along with their names.  I bought some narrow satin ribbon which I fashioned into a loop (a couple of inches long).  I used some Gorilla Glue and glued them in two places on the back of each one (twice to keep them from flopping over).  I put them on my Christmas tree each year.  Note:  I initially tried using a hot glue gun, but noticed when I put one of them on a hook in a sunny foyer, that the glue started melting!
