I see the cover more as a man who looks like a meld of Hitler and Sibelius showing us Sir John's head on a platter.

He looks like growing out of the other's shoulder, a bit like the grotesque mutant/parasite in that Schwarzenegger movie (Total Recall?).

Hah! Yeah, that and the three-boob babe is all I remember from that movie.  ;D

That movie is a bit over the top and gets sillier towards the end but the general premise and the beginning/middle is actually quite good.

What with the awful photo and the illegible text, this is indeed a strong candidate for the absolute worst.

Finnish cover art sucks most of the time. I don't understand why. In design Finland rules, but it just doesn't apply to CD cover art. Without violinist Linda Suolahti this cover art would be actually fine, but for some reason Finns want to make classical music CD cover art funny/non-serious. The end result is an unflattering mess like this.  ???
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

This is possibly the worst CD cover I've ever seen. There are lots of  grotesquely/hilariously bad covers in this thread, but this one is just plain wrong, there are no redeeming features whatsoever. No shock value, no garishness, just a vacuum of virtue.
(Ironically, if it were just a photo it might be quite interesting .. but it isn't.)

It seems like you are all saying that the problem with that Unrecorded cover is that you're fat-phobic.

Your remark reminds me of a real case in Chile many moons ago when a 70-something old lady was removed by the police from the beach where she was walking topless. Upon her protestations that she was not the only woman doing just that, the policemen retorted "True, Madam, but you were the only one of them older than 25!"  ;D

I think when people go to the nude beaches they are expecting the 20 somethings and then to their chagrin they're all the 70 somethings!!

Perhaps, but the case I mentioned happened in a regular beach.  :D

Imagine if they had simply moved the text to the bottom left corner.
