Spooky!
It's too long since I've listened to that, so I'm in!

Someone mentioned it as having one of the best symphonic endings.

Ethel Smyth
String Quartet in E minor

Frederick Delius
String Quartet in C minor

Villiers Quartet

Smyth's SQ didn't have a single hook for me over its 40 minutes. Not a fan, but I will revisit it to retest its waters.

Having the early Delius SQ right after certainly raises up his work.

Schubert: Piano Sonata, D.959
Paul Lewis

I especially liked the 2nd and 4th movements. Near the end of the 4th movement, Schubert keeps switching between major and minor, which is a cool effect.

Such an incredible performance. This concerto is in Hahn's bloodstream. Interesting factoid: both Barber and Hahn were Curtis Institute alumni.
