I'm terribly saddened to hear about Sarge. He's such a nice man and was always welcoming to me (even at times that I didn't deserve it). But thankfully, unlike some members here, he doesn't hold a grudge and can let things go. I hope he is doing better and is able to come back to GMG. He is sorely missed.

My Sherlock Holmes-type detective skills led me to believe that it was you  :)

Haha...well, I would've given myself away eventually (if my avatar wasn't a dead giveaway already). ;)

@Harry I know we're not on the best terms, but I'm terribly sorry for being such a jerk to you in the past. I hope we can look the future with more optimism.

@Brian I was a bit taken aback at what you wrote about me in the "Missing Members" thread whenever I departed or well...departed as Mirror Image. I'm hoping we can forge some kind of civil relationship from this point forward.

@Karl Henning I'm sorry for writing that pro-Trump stuff on your Facebook account. I've learned to not interject my political opinion into conversations or posts, so I intend to keep it this way.

P.S. I hope you're doing better after your unfortunate medical setbacks. All my best to you.

I will do my best. Unless I pass away unexpectedly, I hope to stick around this time. After being on another forum, I've learned that GMG really is a great place to converse about this music. The knowledge on here is more in-depth and while I don't want to cast dispersions on the other forum I frequent, it seems the membership here is into a lot more music outside of the standard repertoire, which is really where my heart is when everything is said and done.

I must admit that I did not expect this, I was just in the process of blocking you yet again. You did me great wrongs, and wrote in such a way against me, that blocking you came as a second nature. This said, you openly admitted this before all eyes on GMG, so I hate holding grudges against people for it is not in my nature to do so. If you respect me as a human being, and my opinions regarding music, I will not block you.
Let me not regret this John. Welcome back.

It is a very educational forum and has gradually encouraged me to explore more music. I even like Debussy now ;) .

Ah, well this is good news! As you or may not know, Debussy is one of my favorites. I have been noticing you've even been listening to some Romantic Era music, which was a great surprise.

Somebody at Supraphonline must have been told to change all the Boulez and Reiner album downloads to a bargain price and I guess used SQL on the database as they also reduced a couple of 60+ album box sets to the price of the single albums within them ::) . I was figuring I only needed to like one album from each to be worth it but found I enjoyed loads 8) .

Of course. Hope you're doing well and listening to cool things. See you in the Martinu thread!

Very nice, indeed. Maybe one day we can talk about Debussy or Mahler if you're up to it.

Thanks, Brian and I hope you are well, too and not eating too much. ;) Yeah, the Martinů thread is a favorite haunt for sure. 8)

These are my favourites so far, I found the combination of poetry and music very evocative 8) .

I was delighted to log onto GMG today and see multiple posts by a certain "Mirror Image". ;) Welcome back, John, and please stick around this time! :)
