I was unexpectedly blown away by Sainton's The Island, and Hadley's Trees really came together at its conclusion.

O, yes a fine recording, I love listening to these works, and the other Lyrita recording too.
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

I think this is outstanding despite the vibrato. Casadesus seems pretty perfect to me.

Last night Brahms PT #2, Florestan... you know despite having listened to this work many, many times over the years... it was strangely new and unfamiliar to me last night :o

A salient point. Francescatti's vibrato is an issue.
