In that, it appears that I have not so uploaded ... when i search my channel, I don't find them. But I already misdoubt that, feeling sure I've uploaded a version of the Saltmarsh Stomp.

Sorry to hear about your trials, Karl, that's tough going. I wish you all the best.

I struck an acquaintance with a clarinetist who teaches in Alabama and leads a large clarinet choir. I originally wrote Misapprehension for them, but with regrets Tim told me the piece would not be suitable. "Say I were to write another piece," I returned, "what would a more suitable piece look like?" "A piece for an Alabama father to tap his toes to." Hence this piece. As it turned out, they did not play this piece, either.

And today, in Pieces I've written of which there appear no prospect of performance:

And another. Granted, I wrote this one just because I wanted to, joying in the colors.

Scored for
Sopranino Clarinet in Eb
3 Oboes
Alto Flute
Cor Anglais
Tenor Saxophone
Bass Clarinet
Contrabassoon
4 Horns
2 Tenor Trombones
Bass Trombone
Tuba
Harp

In principle, it should be doable by any wind ensemble which can hire a harp. I have failed to find any takers.

I think it likely that I've posted a score for Things Like Bliss on this thread. But, you know, mebbe not. I owe the title to @Mandryka though I no longer remember the subject of that post.

Anyway, present thoughts.

Sorting Out All the Bliss

The question before me is: do I apply myself to the Ensemble Aubade adaptation today, or push it off to Saturday?
