Finally had a dream about the war.

The Russians bombed a NATO convoy while it was still in Poland. Article 5 was thus triggered, and the response was still being discussed when l woke up.

I'm guessing that dream has happened around the world a few million times...

Lol, probably a natural result of looking into the war a bit too much.

I did dream of a nuke going off in my city, but that was over 2 years ago, last dream related to war.

But the main part about this dream, that will set it forever in my dream hall of fame, is that, despite his appearance, the evil aura coming from this kid was one of the strongest, maybe even the strongest, feeling of evil I've ever encountered. Just indescribable. No horror movie or game ever came close to that level of potency. Normally, I love being surrounded by dark environments, enjoy horror just for the aesthetic, etc., but this was on such another level that it wasn't enjoyable.
I failed to mention that I realized later that "kid" looked a lot like Putin, he really has the face of a kid. Would be at least the second or third dream I had of him, the other one being from a year or two ago when he was driving crazy in a car, and I was stuck there with him.

The night of feb 20, when i had this dream, I think they were discussing possible war but it really started around feb 24.

Postcards from Dreamland: I was a musical advisor to Harrison Ford, who was preparing to play Bernstein in a new biopic (a word which, BTW, I don't pronounce to rhyme with "myopic.") Then, I was in a rideshare driven by Elon Musk, who made me welcome to take one of those stubby little bottles of water. He dropped me off at a McDonald's managed by an Ohio friend (not the friend who actually manages one) on one wall of which was some graffiti in Finnish. Then, I was trying to rehearse a piece for three winds. I wanted to make a fresh photocopy, but the glass on the copier was not clear.

I wonder if the graffiti and the copier glass might represent frustrations regarding your music making.  Thinking that not understanding the graffiti could symbolize your frustrations with composing new music or perhaps have something to do with not knowing where to apply for a *job?  And maybe the cloudy copier glass has to do with your struggles getting your work performed?

*Hope that it wasn't the same place where Trump was "working"

Elon Musk:  no ideas about that!

What do you think your dreams meant Karl?

And I'm probably way off!

It can all be explained in terms of GMG.

@Cato was indeed the manager, though why he was managing a McDonald's in Middlesex County, Massachusetts is a mystery.

So, is the moral of the story, don't hang around GMG so much?  ::)  ;D

I really don't think that GMG occupies that much of my subconscious real estate 🤔

I remember taking an optional course in basic Freudian psychology during my college years and learning the theory about how when we dream, the subconscious translate erotic impulses and imagery in various non-erotic symbols and actions. Discussing it with a mate, I told him I believed the theory was nonsense because my erotic dreams were more often than not explicit. To which he wittily replied: just imagine what must be in your subconscious if your dreams, even filtered-out, are explicit.

Something like this perhaps?

I dreamt last night that I was reconciled with an estranged brother. Somehow in the dream I both enjoyed the reconciliation, and yet was aware that it was not true.

A couple of weeks ago I dreamed that my pet dog Hershey was still alive, and thinking otherwise was just a lie or a mistake. We were reunited and he was happy to see me.

I periodically dream of my parents (always individually), both long since passed away, but don't recall ever being aware in the dream that they're supposed to be dead.

Maybe you can reach out to him; it's still not too late.  I'll bet that he misses you too.

Sounds like it was a bittersweet dream.  💔I'd like to think that we're reunited with our pets in whatever afterlife awaits us [though my cats might be saying "What?!  Why that cat litter?!", and so on....].

A busy night in Dreamland last night. I was dropping someone off on my way driving around western Penna, and I doubled back when I realized I could drop them off closer to their final destination. I was taking a standardized test with an essay component, and the theme for the essay was "why we should support the LGBQT community." I was in a bathroom stall and the bath tissue unrolled uncontrolledly. Mom was giving me two keys, and I wasn't sure we had another key ring. My wife and parakeet were looking at themselves in the reflective surface of a kitchen appliance.
