Father of a daughter & grandfather of a granddaughter -- you are a lucky man. Congratulations, may mother and daughter be healthy & rest from three to six.

Have you shoved aside all of your piles of CDs in your man cave to make room for the piles of presents for her?  ;)

And I expect that you're already hard at work compiling playlists for her too.   ;D

I'm afraid @vandermolen will be at a loss in this respect  Brave defiance of impending doom is hardly suitable for babies...  ;D

Case in point, I happen to be the elderly father of a young daughter (she turned 20 this month). To my dismay, she likes all "my music." Especially alternative pop (British, Scandinavian) from the '80s and '90s, when I myself was in my twenties and thirties.

We have a simple agreement: she borrows everything from my CD cabinet (5500 cds, during my two years of illness I got rid of 500 of them, since then I have bought only one more, I listen to almost everything via Spotify). What she likes, she gets to keep. About a hundred so far, but it goes fast.

So she gets the presents, not Jeffrey's beautiful granddaughter. But take comfort: in 2018 I was at Jeffrey's house in Sussex & his whole house is bulging with CDs. He himself probably doesn't remember exactly where they all hang out, but there are plenty to give as gifts. He will, no doubt: a received a dozen of them too.  8)

That 2018 visit is a happy memory for me Johan.

PS I would not describe you as 'elderly'

PPS I'm aware that I've hijacked this thread - apologies. Maybe that's why, earlier today, I received this familiar message:

'Sorry vandermolen, you are banned from using this forum.' :-)

What about Sofia Arielle? They popped up spontaneously. One of my God children is called Sofia..... :)
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

@vandermolen It would be very sweet if one(?) of her middle names might be something from either you or your wife's side of the family. :)
