It clearly is the forum software. Unless some of you are getting the same error somewhere else besides the forum?
Nobody has to apologise for using their brain.

Yep, phone or laptop, I cannot post to the Headquarters thread.

Guess I won't risk losing either of my drafts. Hope I can post again before they expire.

Well that was weird, suddenly GMG was gone for 5 minutes, time error, took to long to connect.
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

On and off for me as well.

I'm unable to update my location, it saves but doesn't update

I'll have that any day in exchange for being able to change my avatar.

Btw, welcome back! Long time, no see.

It's been (very occasionally) on and off for me as well.

And again, site was gone and reappeared on a regular basis.!

I couldn't get into the forum today on a few attempts spread over some time, but... now that it's back my PHP Forbidden bug might be cured??  :o

The site becomes more dysfunctional as ever before in the history of GMG. That's a disturbing thought.

Thanks Florestan! How many Mirror Image screen names did I miss  ;D

Probably been the second craziest year of my life with this move, but well worth it plus FIRE'ing. Overall enjoying life much more not working plus enjoying this ludicrously beautiful scenery up here mountain biking. Probably going to have more absences while things settle.

Wow, congratulations! Truly living the dream. I hope you calculated your music budget into your long-term plans.  ;D

I'll make a post with picture to the CDCDCDCD thread with what I had to tear down :) My purchases slowed down a while ago, I realized it's just a focused form of hoarding when there is only so much time to listen to music.

It was a couple of years lurking the Bogleheads forum, going over multiple withdrawal calculators (spending more than your average retiree with a future new mortgage and high travel budget), and a really good by the hour financial advisor.

I've been lurking Bogleheads for a while too but I'm more than a few years away. ;D Sounds great and sounds like you're doing it right. Glad you have big travel plans and other retirement plans, the biggest pitfall I have seen in those threads is people who just hate their job and haven't really thought about what they want to do with life.
