Are there any women here that listen to classical music... or are we a just bunch of men?

Mark

There are at least 6 female members here:

Lethe
Bunny
Greta
Heather Harrison
Uffviking
Sunnyside Up

Probably more, I'd imagine. ???

Lethevich

Mostly men. I guess GMG sucks as a dating service :P
Peanut butter, flour and sugar do not make cookies. They make FIRE.

greg

we're all men.... classical music is a manly thing, popular music is for girls since they all have less brains.

;)

mahlertitan

this forum is almost as disproportionate as a Star Trek convention.

Papageno

Where are all of you from anyway?  Because where I'm from I'm either gay or dumb for listening to classical music...

Seattle, not nearly as conservative where you are from, people tolerate classical music, but don't listen to it, which is weird.

UK. South of. Our Northern brethren think we're soft, shandy-drinking wimps, so listening to classical music fits rather handily into that picture. ;)

Sarge
the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Oh, yeah: Anne, Joan (how on earth did I forget them?).

Sorry, ladies. :(

where are you from, homie? Kentucky? The south? I can understand if you're from there, lol, i've at least traveled to see relatives from there. Actually, my uncle loved my music, he's like like a guy from the country that's smarter from all the other guys from the country, who grows fruits on his farm-like place. Now what would you call that?... hm.......

oh, anyways, i'm down in the ultra-south, Florida, so here we're..... um....... i don't know what everyone thinks about classical. My impressions have been that some people think "wtf?" when they hear that you listen to classical and others just seem to be interested, like, "wow" type interested. Girls especially take more of an interest in your orchestral score studying. Actually, only one guy has told me, "wtf is wrong with you?" but he said it while laughing, nothing really nasty. We were cool, even though I (and the other guy at my table) kept on saying football players are fags (well, he said it more than me, i just though it was funny) and he always got mad.

:-X

my coworker has been to Greece... I said I wanted to go, but she "warned" me that there's a lot of women who don't wear their tops. I meant to say, "i'm a'ight with that", but you know, when it encompasses a wide range of ages and body sizes of people who do that....

Bonehelm

So is Harry a male or female? I mean he talks like a male and his name is manly and he's got a man in his avatar. But he/she once said that he/she was a female.

??? ??? ???

Well, I'm not really the kind of person who favours lying on a beach under the hot sun...
