I'm still trying to work out how this thread works, BTW, otherwise I'd have 'fast-tracked it to the list' (whatever that means) when I mentioned it yesterday!

It means you get to send one work straight to the final list and then you vote every 12 hours for or against the works on the board (who are competing for the list).
You have a +2, a +1 and a -1 vote (3 votes total) every 12 hours (or, easier to manage, twice a day; I'm not keeping a timer to the minute:).

When the board has less than 25 works, as it happens now, you may also add new works (and grant them your +2 and +1 votes) until the board has a total of 25 works.
The highest voted work  that reaches a 7 point difference from the next best scorer (or 40 points total) is elevated to the list.
A work that reaches a -5 score is withdrawn from the board (it can be voted in at any time).

Wanderer

I was thinking of stirring things up (and down) a little; what does everyone think of adding a +3 and a -2 votes to the mix?

That would be cool if there were constraints on using 'em.  Like you have to give up the +1 and the +2 to use a +3, or you have to give up the +2 and the -1 in order to use a -2.  Or you have to earn them in some way... :)

More rules, huh?   :D

OK, let's see how it goes.

Voters from now on will have +3, +2, +1, -1, -2 (5 total) votes every 12 hours (each vote for a different work).
The only compulsory votes are the +1 & +2.
No +3 or -2 two times in a row.
