"Come on! You must be way over 30, probably even over 40, $10 is way too much for you! I give you $5 for half an hour but only if you do the things I showed you in the picture. And you, holding the camera, I give you $1 if you film us."

Do you have a recent picture with the changed hair?

This is what M currently looks like. I think I need to change my hair, too. Or maybe not. Or at least shave.

The dark eyerings come from being sick and lying in bed most of the day. But don't hope too much yet - I am not that sick - the bluish color actually comes from the monitor.

In the background you can see the current Mystery Orchestra CDs. Unfortunately for you cheaters the picture is too grainy and the label spines are turned to he side...

This was taken at the 2005 Salzburg Festival one evening as I was making my way to the Pogorelich recital.

What you can't see in this picture is the cunningly hidden sledgehammer that caused such a mess on stage later that evening.  :o  Well, Pogorelich really was begging for it :)

I'll see if I can get a picture this weekend. Where's AnthonyAthletic? He's wonderfully photogenic.

My favourite Sean picture also comes from a village--perhaps the same one? He's standing behind a group of dishevelled natives looking like he's about to skip off for some special time with the nearest farm animal.

Why sure! Here's one of me (middle) with a couple of business associates after my recent haircut

I didn't see that. Can you repost it here? I would love to caption that.

Thanks for sharing! You remind me of Modest Mussorgsky. So that's what the 'M' stands for!

Took a while but I've located it on the old forum. It's the first one here.

My initial response: "Look at that sly face! Kind of looks like he has one of the children stuffed under his shirt as he heads away to the empty barn at the back."

Nigel Wilkinson's riposte: "Where some kind of goat appears to be waiting."

Strangely enough, that's not the first time I heard that. When we played "Pictures at an Exhibition" in La Jolla last year, we had this picture of MM in the program

and one of the orchestra members came over with the program and said "Mike, why is there a picture of you in here?"
Hmm....

Wow, I completely missed that. A great picture. The people, the look, the goat, the Sean. Unfortunately, I can't come up with a better caption now. Maybe later.

But he is not nearly as modest.

What do you look like, Mr Rinkel? Wrinkled? Haha. I am sure people say that all the time. And it's not even funny.
Seriously now, where is your pic?

Did you post a pic of yourself? I mean a recent one. I remember some pics from the 70s in the old forum.

But only when I comb my hair. Which happens not that often. It does what it wants anyway.
