Do you exercise? If so, what do you do?

I'm finally getting back in the swing of it now having fully recovered from my car crash. I used to be into weights but right now I am focusing on my cardio, so I am running 3 miles four times a week and feel great!

What do you lot do?

Harry

6 days in the week, 80 minutes a day on my rowing machine. 8)

I used to run just about every other day, but since I moved to this apartment, I haven't. It's by an extremely busy highway, and I don't trust the drivers to stay off the shoulder. :)

I don't have self-discipline for exercise. I try to lift weights 3 times a week but I never succeed.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

I used to go to the gym (lifting weights and using machines), but I have had a looong break from it (mostly out of pure laziness, I guess). I'm planning to start again as the new semester begins now.. I probably should do more cardio, I think my heart rate is higher than it should be at my age. I used to have the self-discipline to work out three times a week, but for the last couple of years, every attempt at getting back into that routine just ends after one or two sessions >:(

The recipe for workout discipline, I've found, is to get yourself a workout partner  :)

George

Push ups, lots of walking and some light yoga to strengthen my core.

I wave my arms for five hours each weekday.

2/4 Time =  fat burn

subdivided 12/8 Time = cardio

I walk a couple of hours each day in the woods with my dog.
I lift cigarettes and bring them to my mouth.

I don't think it requires self-dicipline when you enjoy it. After all, none of us consider masturbating or having sex a aburden!

My motivator is simply the endorphin rush. As Arnie once said, "[when i work out in the gym] I'm cumming day and night".

The self-discipline for me is watching the diet.

Its interesting to see thus far that classical music fans tend not to be ones for exercise.

The Mad Hatter

I cycle from my house to the train station nearly every day...and...er...that's about it.

Harry

O, yes I forgot that, I cycle 500 kilometres a month easily!
So people that like classical music tend to work out!
Who said they don't? :)
For Christ sake, look at Andy! ;D

right now, i'm lifting weights just a couple days a week, and i used to do it too much so now that i've been doing less recently i think i'm doing a lot better now.
i love flexing my biceps and growling like a caveman, hahahaha
if all goes well, i should get to 40 lbs before the end of the year, i've been stuck on 35 lbs for curls forever now  :P besides that, i don't do that many more exercises....
basically curls, lifts, shoulder shrugs, sideways lifts, pushups, situps, etc.

but i'm going to start going to a gym soon, though I don't know if it'll be right after i get job or soon, like next week. Probably Saturday or so I'm gonna check out this one gym and get the membership prices and make a decision. I called the same gym (Gold's Gym) in a different area today but I didn't realize it was so far away- the one near me is new so it wasn't in the phone book.

anyways, i do plan on committing most of my life to the gym, 3 days a week. It'd be fun to chill out, maybe throw a little Xenakis or Varese on my mp3 player and get pumped up!

I find that using different forms of exercise keeps me from getting bored. I enjoy kayaking a couple times a week, biking, weight training, etc. The kayaking is great for the head too. I headphone up and paddle for a couple of hours.

rubio

I play soccer each Monday, and I run 10 km two times per week. Soccer is pure fun, while running is more or less OK if I have my Ipod on.

He clearly bought my conductorobics program with cardboard orchestra and all. Just 1 ring cycle, 3 times a week and you'll be in the best shape of your life!

Solitary Wanderer

6 days a week I do stretches, press-ups, walking & running :)

Until recently, I would run 5-6 miles every other day. Then I went away for a month, after which I was floored by the flu for over 2 weeks, which meant no exercise of any form for quite some time. I'm finding it hard to get back into shape. It's taking me a good 10 minutes longer to go my usual route and it's still a struggle :'(.

But prior to that, I was probably at the fittest I've ever been since I left school. That's all relative of course; until I started jogging last year, I hadn't done any exercise since the early 90s ;).
