Lawful Good
A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. She combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. She tells the truth, keeps her word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion.

Geo Dude

Chaotic Good
A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.

Florestan

Lawful Neutral

A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and organization are paramount to her. She may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or she may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. The common phrase for lawful neutral is "true lawful." Lawful neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you are reliable and honorable without being a zealot.

Based on your answers to the quiz, your character's most likely alignment is Neutral.

Neutral

A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most neutrality is a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil. After all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, she's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. The common phrase for neutral is "true neutral." Neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion.

It said neutral (like ChamberNut), but I think it was just confused. I also think it cannot differentiate between some contradictory answers and just averages them(hence neutral).

There was rarely an answer that satisfactorily represented the answer I wanted to give. For example: Do you respect the lawful authority of the rulers of the land?
Yes. Long live the queen!
Yes, our rulers are generally fair and just
No, a ruler is no better than anyone else
No, rulers are invariably corrupted by power

I would like to answer yes, a ruler is no better than anyone else and is often corrupted by power the longer they stay in power. So which do I pick?
Be kind to your fellow posters!!

These sort of quizzes don't allow folks to waver, and this one was especially designed well, at least from a social science perspective. Everyone has inclinations and proclivities toward. The point, at least for me, of these sorts of things is to analyze myself to figure out which, when my hand is forced, would I select.

Good point. I picked my answers in exactly the same manner.

There was rarely an answer that satisfactorily represented the answer I wanted to give.

I noticed that with the very first question; the only answers were:

Accept the criticism and change your ways
Seek a compromise with the elders
Besmirch the reputation of the elders as you ignore their scorn
Silence the elders any way you can

There was no, Ignore them and do what you have to do. There was no way to be an individual without being an asshole. Besmirch or silence? A little extreme. I decided not to take the test.

Based on your answers to the quiz, your character's most likely alignment is Neutral Good.

Neutral Good

A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. The common phrase for neutral good is "true good." Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias toward or against order.

I resent the very idea!  >:(

I would suggest that you're perhaps being a bit too stringent or rigid with your definitions. These sort of tests cannot be designed in the way that you desire, the main reason being the space. There are tests which you can take which do have more fully fleshed out answer arrays, but you have to pay for those and they tend to be read and understood by psychologists.

Okay. I took the test and, no surprise, I'm Neutral. This does describe me pretty well in a general way: "They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run."

I do believe if the entire world were Switzerlandicized we'd all be a lot better off.

Mrs. Rock took it too: Chaotic Neutral. Yeah, that's her  :D

I guess the inconsistent/contradictory answers cause everything to cancel out.
