Wasn´t Munday´s Go from my window variations played on an organ-harpsichord?

I should grieve to think so! Your exchange earlier just set me to thinking that, if ever I heard the Opus 81, it's been many years since. The Harnoncourt is not absolutely the only recording I have, but it was the only one to hand 0:)

Not yet available in the US, apparently. Terrific.

Jens - I love these Bach transcription type recordings - really TERRIFIC as you state?  ClassicsOnline & iTunes has it as an MP3 DL - might do that & burn to a CD-R - will await you final opinion - Dave :)

Just listened to them the fourth time in a row... would never do that in their Flute state. (Which applies to 1020 and 1033.) Yes... I think terrific is not overstating it.

Thank goodness you're not listening to Stockhausen. :)

Earlier: more Mercury Living Presence, one of the Howard Hanson discs. First and probably only listen.

Now: Schubert D.845 via Badura-Skoda (link). I will come back to this one for sure.

HAYDN:         6 Quartets opus 76                 / Tatrai Quartet

The Tatrai recorded all the Quartets of Haydn. To me, this is the best part, with very remarkable interpretations of the opus 76. The no. 6, one of the most original works composed by Haydn, has here in my opinion its best interpretation.
