Beautiful, thank you!
Thank you, Karl. :)
I cleaned it up some more, not that I'm trying to beat Ansel in the amount of editing. ;)

Wow!! Fantastic shot.  The new camera (and vacation time) seems to have inspired  you even further.

And "The Thinker" has me thinking ;D

I just got back from vacation myself.  Here's Chicago, from the plane.

Thanks!
I'm sure they have, as the camera is my own, unlike all other cameras I've used before really.
Very nice indeed for a plane window capture!!

I highly recommend the Samyang (Rokinon, and some other names) 14mm lens for your camera (if you like ultra wide angle shooting).  Brilliantly sharp and very cheap.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I do use the 18mm end a fair bit, but that (on a DX camera, too) is as wide as I've ever gone. Something wide would be nice for landscapes in particular, but I don't think I'll be getting anything too soon. A longer telephoto end would be nice, too. And a macro lens. And some fast primes - say 35, 50 & 70. And...

Also very nice. Did you filter it (because of the grey-blue colour)?

Show us more of your beautiful country, Karlo!

No filtering, just the atmosphere & Sun doing their magic. :)

Here you go! We had to stay closer to the house because the field was so muddy from all of the rain Friday/Saturday. When I asked my aunt she said I should have one for each seasons -- right while I was carrying the scores to Haydn's "The Seasons" to the hammock to read/listen.

I didn't take these as "artful" shots so perhaps these are not so much for the photography thread, but on Sarge's request.
View from the hammock:

Beethoven's Op. 133 -- A fugue so bad that even Beethoven himself called it "Grosse".
